Welcome to our Year 5 Japanese lesson! As you are aware, we have to learn remotely this week. However, I have collaborated some interesting and engaging activities for you to enjoy at home. This week we are looking at the grammatical structure for imasu and arimasu . We will explore when and how these grammar forms are used, and use them in various sentences. There are four activities to be completed with accompanying activities showing your learning and understanding. Instructions are provided in each segment. Please view the video before beginning. First stop, Seigantoji Temple and Nachi Waterfalls in Wakayama Prefecture: We can say: せいがんとじ が あります . seigantoji ga arimasu. Or, there is Seigantoji Temple.
